Kranjska Gora is a Slovenian ski resort situated in a narrow valley, located between the Julian Alps and the Karavanke in the,north western part of Slovenia, yet very close to the borders with Austria and Italy.
The ski resort of Kranjska Gora has 30km of pistes which are accessible by 16 lifts. The resort lies between 800m and 1,623m in altitude, and both beginners and progressing skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the gentle slopes and forestry trails of Kranjska Gora’s Mojstrana, Gozd Martuljek, and Planina pod Golico,
Advanced skiers and snowboarders will find the Podkoren trail is a bit more demanding. Here, the best skiers in the world compete annually for the Vitranc Trophy in the World Cup men’s giant slalom and slalom events.
Equipment hire and bespoke sports massages can be arranged upon request at an additional cost, please get in contact to discuss this before booking. When you arrive in Slovenia you’ll be met at Ljubljana Airport. This will also be the place where you’ll be dropped off at the end of the trip. If you wish to stay for any additional days in Slovenia these will need to be arranged independently. Travel to the countries capital Ljubljana can be sought from the airport during the day and takes roughly an hour. Should you require ski or snowboard instruction, this can be arranged additionally. We provide all attendees with public liability insurance and accidental injury cover up to £5,000,000 during the holiday. However, it is advised for attendees to purchase their own travel insurance policy for the duration of their trip to include winter sports and repatriation costs.
