Jolanda is where NeveFest offers luxurious ski in/ski out hotels at Gressoney La Trinite, Val d’Aosta in north-east Italy. Our hotels at Jolanda are perfectly placed for winter sports and set in a scenic and very romantic location. The hotels all have a ski deposits (you can also secure your ski’s for free with a key) with a backdoors directly out and onto the Jolanda chair lift at 1638m that lifts you to Punta Jolanda at 2237m, from where you descend to the base of the Bedemie-Seehorn lift taking you up to 2390m, from where you are immediately away to Alagna Freeride Paradise – a heaven for backcountry off-piste terrain or descend the side of the valley into Alagna Valsesia.

Monterosa Piste MapFrom Seehorn good intermediate skiers and snowboarders (and above) can also descend directly via red and black pistes to Stafal, from where you can cross the valley and ridge to Champoluc and Frachy in the next valley offering a selection of easier grade pistes (green, blue and red) for progressors and intermediates, snowboarding or skiing in Monterosa. Although the Jolanda hotels location is primarily targeted at intermediate, advanced and expert skiers seeking backcountry thrills, immediately to the front of the hotel is the local free bus service, from where progressing skiers can go further up the valley to reach Stafal, or down to the nursery slope and gentler pistes at Weissmatten.

Tache & Gressoney la Trinite are located in the heart of the Monterosa ski area of Val d’Aosta and Piemonte and for those arriving by car from Chamonix in France in France, is a short drive into Italy shortly after the Mont Blanc tunnel. For those arriving by plane, Turin (Torino, airport code TRN) is the nearest airport and the resort is easily reached by public transport – a quick Airport Shuttle Bus into Turin city centre to Torino Porta Susa or Porta Nuova railway stations. Bus tickets are sold from the kiosk in the airport arrivals area and they speak English at the kiosk. Once at the railway stations, it is a direct train for Ivrea, a couple of stops to Pont St. Martin station and then an hourly bus service up the valley to Tache & Gressoney St. John.
