Gressoney la Trinite is at the base of Punto Jolanda. Jolanda is where NeveFest offers our best hotels in Gressoney to those wanting Extreme Sports holidays with luxurious ski-in/ski-out hotels in Val d’Aosta. It really is a great ski area, Monterosa in north-east Italy. Our hotels at Jolanda are perfectly placed for the winter sports of skiing and snowboarding and set in a scenic and very romantic location. Even the cheapest hotels at Gressoney all have a ski deposits (you can also secure your ski’s for free with a key) with a backdoors directly out and onto the Jolanda chair lift at 1638m that lifts you to Punta Jolanda at 2237m, from where you descend to the base of the Bedemie-Seehorn lift taking you up to 2390m, from where you are immediately away to Alagna Freeride Paradise – a heaven for backcountry off-piste terrain or descend the side of the valley into Alagna Valsesia – one of the best places we’ve ever discovered for Extreme Sports Holidays. For mountain guides of heliskiing, just contact us on the form below.
From Seehorn good intermediate skiers and snowboarders (and above) can also descend directly via red and black pistes to Stafal, from where you can cross the valley and ridge to Champoluc and Frachy in the next valley offering a selection of easier grade pistes (green, blue and red) for progressors and intermediates, snowboarding or skiing in Monterosa. Although the Jolanda hotels location is primarily targeted at intermediate, advanced and expert skiers seeking backcountry thrills, immediately to the front of the hotel is the local free bus service, from where progressing skiers can go further up the valley to reach Stafal, or down to the nursery slope and gentler pistes at Weissmatten where you will also find cheap hotels at Gressoney St Jean.
